High quality and flexible ![User picture]()
I've been hunting for a high quality, flexible, and short (3ft or less) USB C cable that supports simultaneous video and charging. This USB4 cable checks all the boxes. I used it between my Lenovo laptop and an external portable monitor. The monitor has secondary USB C ports, so I plugged the Lenovo charger into one of those ports. The monitor worked and the laptop charged, so it performed exactly as I had hoped.

Pros:
- USB4: As a USB4 cable, it charges and can be used to transmit data.
- USB-C: The connectors are aluminum with a cable strain relief sleeve so I can play games on the deck without worrying about the cable.
- Compatibility: Supports older devices too! USB4 is backward compatible with prior generations of Thunderbolt and USB products. That means you don't have to carry multiple generations of cables in your laptop bag. I ditched the older cables in my bag for this one.
